This one is a little newer with more modern design.
I'll make a video for v1.8.0 with the integration of the cards on the mainscreen and now map zooming to location of connection.
For those interested, we have started the process of the Meile v2.0 redesign. Alessandro is making great progress on the main screen. And I'm tidying up some loose ends before I go full throttle on the remaining parts of the design.
v1.8.0 is the last release (pending any immediate fixes) before v2.0.0 drops next month. We have pushed a new major release every month for the past 14 months and are keeping with our goal of having a major release at least once month. For those interested in the progress and screenshots of v2.0.0, you can view the project here:
We are also going to go the Cache server route now that Nast0r and Alessandro have been working on a python SDK for MathNodes. With so many nodes now on Sentinel, direct query of the blockchain really is super inefficient and results in a lot of nodes not showing unless refreshed with a high timeout, which causes significant user wait time. The load time of Meile is also suffering from some many nodes on the Network... Which is a good thing!
The Cache server is already built but relies on Sentinel-cli and I will transition it to the SDK where Nast0r has made great work. Also, one idea I would like to see come to fruition is the problem with a cache server is the centralization, so I'm proposing that MathNodes build a P2P cache network where the loads are distributed by cache nodes reporting to a tracker.
Look for v1.8.0 in the coming days (the Apple Silicon build is already on GitHub).
